Use the on-demand classes to build strength at your own pace.
Don’t let decision fatigue ruin your strength workout. Instead of haphazardly choosing exercises and improvising your volume, queue up a Coach-Guided Workout, now available on the EQX+ app, for a focused and effective training session.

The new on-demand workouts are a fusion of the self-guided sessions and virtual, group fitness-style classes currently offered. In each Coach-Guided Workout, an Equinox coach will talk you through an entire 20- to 45-minute training session, from the warm-up to the cool-down. Instead of performing the workout alongside you, though, they’ll chat through technique tips, options to scale back and progress, and the “why” behind the exercise, ensuring you get the most out of every movement. On screen, you’ll watch clear video demonstrations, accompanied by text noting the exercise names and recommended reps. Expect your coach to tell you exactly when to move and when to recover.

Still, the classes offer as much flexibility as they do accountability. Confident in your technique? Set your phone down and follow along with just the audio cues. Need a visual reference as you attempt unfamiliar movements? Prop your phone up on a bench and mirror the demo. Pause when you need extra time to rest or squeeze in one more rep. Rewind to revisit a warm-up exercise that gave your tight hips relief. Follow your coach, but move at your own pace.

Though each Coach-Guided Workout is rooted in resistance training, the exact focus varies. Choose between a full-body, lower-body, or upper-body session. Get explosive and improve sports performance with power and speed training, or push your muscles to their limit with endurance work. Slam med balls. Push and pull cables. Move hefty dumbbells. Created with a library of more than 1,000 unique movements, the classes will help you build noticeable gains without ever feeling repetitive.
Try your first session now, and check back for more Coach-Guided Workouts dropping later this month.
