You can cultivate good dreams by getting rid of any lingering tension or anger from your day before you drift off, says HeadStrong creator Michael Gervais. In Katey Lewis’s Clean Your Slate HeadStrong meditation on Equinox+, she helps you do exactly that. Lewis suggests taking some deep belly breaths, placing your hands on your body if you’d like. “As you inhale, invite the word ‘peace’ into your body,” she says. “As you exhale, let go of any fragments of anger you might be holding onto. Breathing in, let peace flood your body. Breathing out, imagine excess anger exiting through the soles of your feet.” Continue for a few minutes, then imagine sending your breath like a cleansing wave from the top of your head throughout your body, diffusing any remaining thoughts of anger or resentment.
