    With a lifetime of experience as an athlete and former personal trainer, Dr. Bayles is a clinical psychologist and a Tier 4 educator for EFTI. He combines his expertise to boost the agency, efficacy and authority of coaches through mindfulness-based coaching techniques, boundary-setting strategies and behavior-change facilitation tools.

  • JEFFREY BLAND, PHD, FACN, FACB

    With a focus on nutritional biochemistry and clinical research, Dr. Jeffrey Bland has been an internationally recognized leader in nutritional medicine for over 25 years, as founder and CEO of HealthComm International, Chief Science Officer of Metagenics, president of MetaProteomics, and founder of the Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute. With his wife Susan he founded the Institute for Functional Medicine, now a respected nonprofit organization.

    Gray Cook is a practicing physical therapist, orthopedic certified specialist and certified strength and conditioning specialist. Gray is the founder of Functional Movement Systems and author of Athletic Body in Balance and Movement. His work promotes the concept of movement pattern screening and assessment. Gray’s ideas are at the forefront of fitness, conditioning, injury prevention and rehabilitation.

  • MICHOL DALCOURT

    Michol Dalcourt is an internationally recognized industry-leading expert in human movement and performance. He is the founder and director of the Institute of Motion, adjunct professor of Sports Science at the University of San Francisco, inventor of the fitness tool "ViPR", and co-founder of PTA Global. With his experience as a fitness innovator, international lecturer and human performance consultant, Michol brings invaluable expertise to the Equinox Health Advisory Board.

  • JEFFREY ILIFF

    Trained in vascular physiology and neuroscience, Jeffrey Iliff was part of the research team at the University of Rochester Medical Center that discovered the glymphatic system – a nocturnal brain-cleaning mechanism. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine within the Knight Cardiovascular Institute at Oregon Health & Science University, and serves on the Equinox Health Advisory Board.

  • HELEN KOLLIAS, PHD

    Dr. Helen Kollias is a researcher and regular contributor to Precision Nutrition as well as an advisor for Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification. Helen holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from York University, specializing in the area of muscle development and regeneration, and a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo. She has also held research positions at John Hopkins University and Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children.

    Dr. Liebenson is the Director of L.A. Sports & Spine, a pain management, rehabilitation & performance enhancement center, and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Chiropractic and Sports Sciences at Murdoch University. A leader in chiropractic studies, Craig had worked in major league sports and serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals as well as the Equinox Health Advisory Board.

    A member of the Equinox Health Advisory Board, Dr. Mager is a board-certified internist, exercise physiologist and health strategist specializing in integrative medicine. His unique blend of disciplines and perspectives in health and fitness combine for a powerful approach to restoring or sustaining health and vitality.

  • BRANDON MARCELLO, PHD

    Dr. Brandon Marcello has nearly 20 years experience in the performance enhancement industry, taking forward-thinking organizations and elite athletes to the next level. He has implemented successful performance training programs for professional, Olympic and collegiate athletes. Continuing his work with the U.S. Department of Defense and Draper Labs, Brandon has recently been tasked with defining the future of soldier performance.

  • JENNIFER MARTIN, PHD, CBSM

    Dr. Martin is a clinical psychologist, a member of the UCLA School of Medicine, and a member of the Equinox Health Advisory Board. With over 15 years of experience working with sleep disorder patients, she has published over 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles and has presented to national and international audiences on insomnia and the range of sleep disorders.

  • JAMES O’KEEFE, MD

    A member of the Equinox Health Advisory Board, Dr. O'Keefe is a board certified cardiologist and Medical Director of the Charles and Barbara Duboc Cardio Health & Wellness Center at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute. He is also a Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He has contributed over 260 published articles to medical literature in the fields of cardiovascular medicine, nutrition, and exercise.

    David Perlmutter, MD is a Board-Certified Neurologist, Fellow of the American College of Nutrition, and Associate Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he received his M.D. He is the #1 NY Times bestselling author of Grain Brain, now published in 28 languages. He is a frequent medical lecturer and has contributed extensively to the world medical literature.

  • JAMES PINCKNEY II, MD, ABFM

    A visionary healthcare innovator, Dr. James Pinckney is the founder of Diamond Private Physicians, a concierge medical practice designed to combat U.S. healthcare challenges. Dr. Pinckney is also dedicated to building a bridge between the fitness and medical communities, best exemplified by his partnership with the Tier X Coaching programs at Equinox Highland Park and Preston Hollow. A graduate of Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Pinckney worked in general surgery at the prestigious Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He joined the Equinox Health Advisory Board in 2014.
