I was born in Iqaluit, Nunavut but have lived my entire life in Toronto.
I currently have 750 hours of yoga teacher training. I have received certifications from the University of Amsterdam on the Neuropsychology of Mindfulness and several course completions from the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California.
I'm pretty much an open book! Perhaps I don't advertise my borderline unhealthy obsession with ice-cream... but now you know.
Fitness is about using movement and breath to become better acquainted with the self and to challenge our perceived physical and mental limits.
I'm a sucker for the beach and tropical getaways but can easily settle into the gifts of a forest or even a nearby park.
My commitment is to become my own best friend- to treat my body and my mind as sacred space and to get the to know the human that I am with as much compassion as possible.
The practice I share is challenging but often quite slow and incorporates meditation which is just as much a workout for your mind as it is for your body.
