I am from Overland Park, KS, and my grandmother was actually named Dorothy!
I have a theatre performance and production background, with work on and Off-Broadway. I am currently pursuing a career in cabaret, with a new show debuting this spring!
I hold numerous certifications, including an interdisciplinary yoga TM certification. I was the first yoga professional invited to train with the Allied Team Training for Parkinson's and am completing my certification as an cancer exercise specialist.
I find a lot of inspiration from Lao Tzu's quote, "When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be."
My nightly retreat at home. The quality time with my favorite four-legged friends, Tabitha and Molly, is priceless.
My students tell me that they feel more centered, relaxed, and energized. My intention is to help students let go and open, so they leave rejuvenated and inspired.
To my daily meditation practice. To do something kind for someone else. This random act can be giving an unexpected compliment or helping someone cross a street, and I commit to it!
