I went to undergrad for chemical engineering in New York City! Lucky for me, I fell in love with yoga and pursued nutrition and wellness instead of following that career path.
I'm a Yoga Alliance-registered experienced yoga teacher at the 200-hr level. I also have a PhD in nutrition from UNC Chapel Hill.
Fitness to me is about mental, physical, and emotional well-being. I know that getting your body physically fit helps your mental and emotional self, and vice versa.
My favorite way to relax is to take a two-mile walk to my favorite coffee shop in Georgetown. I get to listen to music, breathe, and then have a delicious beverage at the end!
