I was born in Buffalo, lived my formative years outside of Philly, and was a nomad around the South, Midwest and Rockies until landing in New York City.
I have 500+ hours of trainings/advanced trainings with what are now the elders of yoga in the U.S., such as Richard Freeman and Alison West. I have extensive training in a variety of bodywork modalities and a masters degree in psychoanalytic studies.
I am a generalist in everything. I love horror movies, Victorian novels, The Bachelorette, classical music, social activism, languages and as much travel as possible.
There are no wrong mistakes, only new experiences and, hopefully, continuous growth.
I've always been one for existential walks to wind down, be it on a trail in the woods or through a different neighborhood in the city.
I am devoted to being as alive, awake and genuinely connected to ourselves and others as we can possibly be. The practice of yoga is a very effective and personal path to deeper self understanding and compassion which improves all our relationships.
Present, grounded and serene.
Lisa has no upcoming classes in next 7 days.
