Belchertown, MA. Where’s that, you ask? Western Massachusetts, between Amherst and Springfield. You’ve probably seen the name on Exit 7 on the Mass Pike. I’ve lived in Boston since 1997, with a 1-year stint in Chicago in 2012-13.
Fitness is a passion project! My 9-5 gig is in media/advertising for a national publisher – I love helping brands tell their story to consumers.
I got my first teaching certification in 2008, and had to be coaxed into teaching (the joke in my old office was “how many certifications are you going to get before you actually teach something?”)

At the barre (I’ve been a devoted student since 2004). Or finding new ways to work out the issues in my tissues with Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls!
Proud of yourself and inspired by everyone around you. My favorite thing is surprising yourself by pushing past what you thought you were capable of.
Proud of yourself, and inspired by everyone around you. My favorite thing in fitness is “surprising yourself” – pushing past what you thought you were capable of breaks down physical and mental barriers. I love giving my runners a safe space to be uncomfortable!
