I was born in Laredo, TX.
Fun fact: My full-time job is as a nurse practitioner caring for children with liver disease, including patients who have received a liver transplant.
I was certified through AFAA and went on to complete my Turbokick & Zumba certification. Once I joined Equinox I have continued to learn by attending Equinox's fantastic trainings for new class formats such as: Metcon3, Stacked, Ropes & Rowers, Precision Running, and Firestarter.
Every time you wake up and your feet hit the floor, it's going to be a good day. We are only given one body so we should strive to take care of it to the best of our abilities.
Yoga is my escape. It centers me and grounds me. It reminds me of what really is important in life.
