I was born six weeks early in Reading, Berkshire.
I have taken 500 hour yoga teacher training and meditation teacher training with Cyndi Lee. I hold NASM Personal Trainer certification. I also have a diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling.
My first degree was Zoology, and I keep and breed reptiles. I still have my first python- she is now 27 years old!
Yoga is important, but it doesn't have to be serious! When we can find a sense of humor during difficult moments on our mat, we can take this approach of friendly resilience.
I get out to the countryside as often as I can. Twice a year I travel to the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica to host a yoga and adventure retreat.
I'm committed to really showing up and being present- for myself and others. If I've taken a break, that's ok, it's the re-starting that's important. Practice, not perfection.
I don't know how you'll feel... but you will know! In my class we work on being fully awake with whatever is happening in the present moment. This is the definition of mindfulness.
