I am a total geek at heart and a proud science nerd who loves studying nutrition (I spent almost every summer of my childhood attending science camp); I have read The Lord of the Rings nine times (yes, the whole trilogy).
I achieved my RYT 200 in 2009. I've since received an additional 200 hours of intensive training in Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga. I also hold certifications for Pilates and Cycling. I was a Division I collegiate athlete–Women's Crew at UNC (Go Heels!).
To become the strongest and healthiest version of myself so I can be the best steward possible to the world around me. All that exists in this moment is love and breath.
THE BEACH!! I just love the feel of sand on my feet, the sun on my face, the rhythmic sound of the crashing waves, my husband's "to-die-for!" bloody mary in one hand, his hand in the other and our girls playing blissfully in the surf...ahhh, my happy place :)
Euphoric. Yoga can strip us down to the most real and beautiful versions of ourselves.
